Privacy Policy

First Fridays is an independent app for finding artists and galleries at First Friday art walks, built and operated by Joe Hiltabidel. This page explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and how you can control or delete it.

Account & profile information

If you create an account, we collect the email address you sign up with and whatever profile details you choose to add: display name, role (artist, gallery, or attendee), bio, contact info (phone or website), profile photos, and — if you list a studio or gallery — its address and map coordinates.

Artist and gallery profiles you submit are reviewed before they appear publicly on the map and directory. Your email address is never shown publicly.

Location

If you use "Use My Location" to center the map near you, your device's location is used only for that moment and is not stored. The only location data we store is the address/coordinates you explicitly enter for your own studio or gallery listing.

Content you add

Photos you upload, and any artists or galleries you mark as favorites or add to a personal "Plan," are stored under your account. Favorites and Plans are private to you.

How your information is used

We don't use third-party advertising networks or analytics trackers.

Where your data is stored

Account and profile data is stored with Supabase (Postgres database, authentication, and file storage). The app itself is hosted on Vercel. Neither is used for anything beyond running First Fridays.

Deleting your data

You can permanently delete your account at any time from the Me tab in the app ("Delete My Account"). This removes your profile, photos, favorites, and any gallery links, and cannot be undone.

Children's privacy

First Fridays is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
